E-learning Activities

I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.

Confucius

To truly understand something, learners have to do. I help learners apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired through learning activities that are carefully designed to simulate real-world experiences.

Detect Phishing

In this activity, learners are presented with everyday technological events, which may involve phishing. The goal of the activity is to avoid getting phished. However, if they do fall victim, they still learn how to recognize phishing scams and avoid them in future.

I was able to recreate fake emails after some thorough research on phishing scams and some painstaking graphic design work. I’ve made extensive use of Articulate Storyline’s layers, states and triggers to give users an authentic user experience.

This sample was inspired by a phishing quiz by Google.

The Cost of E-learning

If you are new to the business of e-learning, determining the right cost of your e-learning project can overwhelm you. The cost of e-learning depends on so many factors and in this interactive module, I will help you uncover some of the key ones. This module was inspired by my many conversations with clients and by e-learning guru Cathy Moore’s Twine modules.

Twine is a really efficient tool for designing interactive branching scenarios. Add a bit of CSS programming and you can use it to develop the final e-learning solution too.
