E-learning Activities

I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.

— Confucius

To truly understand something, learners have to do. Activities help learners apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired.

Detect Phishing

In this sample activity, I teach learners how to recognize phishing. I was able to recreate fake emails and phishing scams with some painstaking graphic design work. I’ve also made clever use of Articulate Storyline’s layers and states to give users an authentic user experience.

This sample was inspired by a phishing quiz by Google.

The Cost of E-learning

If you are new to the business of e-learning, determining the cost of your e-learning project can overwhelm you. The cost of e-learning depends on so many factors and in this interactive module, I will help you uncover some of the key ones. This module was inspired by my many conversations with clients and by e-learning guru, Cathy Moore’s Twine modules.

Twine is a really cool tool for designing interactive branching scenarios. Often, it is only used as a design aid, but with a bit of CSS programming, it can also be used to develop the final e-learning solution.
