Back in September 2024, I received a direct message from Andrew Matsiavin on LinkedIn. Now, I get DMs almost every day. Some I reply to, some I don’t. And rarely, I sit up and take note. This DM was different, and I had to do a double-take. It was a message from a founder that was friendly, curious, humble, and genuine all at once. So, within a few days, I was on a web coffee chat with him, sharing my thoughts on what I wanted from a rapid eLearning tool. He then demonstrated his tool, Parta.io, and by the end of the call, I was super excited to sign up for a trial version. (Later, I learned that Andrew had contacted several other IDs and was taking everyone’s feedback very seriously.)
Parta’s UI is different, and so is its underlying architecture. There is a learning curve. But after a short span of tinkering with it, I felt confident enough to create this Parta sample. You can see what was possible with the tool in 2024. Today, its capabilities have only grown.
What impressed me the most was its customization and collaboration abilities. Every element can be customized, including on different devices. Collaboration is also a breeze: you can assign tasks, give feedback, restore versions, and share templates very easily. And most important, I can embed code. I summed up my experience in this LinkedIn post.

A lot has changed since this sample and post. Every now and again, I see Parta updates, which clearly signal that it is disrupting the eLearning industry. In March 2025, prominent L&D consultant, Heidi Kirby joined their team, bringing them even more visibility. I heard more people saying they’re excited for Parta and that their organizations were using it.
I’ve been following Articulate since the Articulate Studio days, and today, in 2025, it still occupies the top spot. Articulate has been in the game for more than two decades, which makes it hard for any new startup to dislodge them. But I can see people getting weary and ready for change. Parta seems up for the challenge, and the coming years will be exciting to watch.
