Fully Responsive Course with Evolve

This fully responsive course on pepper processing was created with one of the early versions of the Evolve authoring tool, an excellent, cost-effective tool for creating responsive HTML5 e-learning content.

Coming from a pepper-growing region, this course gave me the unique opportunity to use photographs of pepper that I’d personally taken of the pepper vines in the family garden.

But what is most special about this course was that I created it for Learn Appeal, an e-learning industry charity. Learn Appeal works on learning initiatives for remote communities in sub-Saharan Africa. Many of the learners in these communities don’t have mains electricity, never mind internet access. Presented with these constraints, Evolve Authoring is the tool of choice at Learn Appeal. Their targeted learning resources can be accessed on all kinds of devices without the need for internet or even mains electricity.
